I use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to measure site usage, understand usability, identify problems and improve research materials and website content. These services may process information about pages viewed and interactions, browser and device details, referring information, and cookies or similar online identifiers. They are third-party analytics providers and may process information outside Singapore under their own privacy terms.
3. How I use information
I may use information submitted through the website to respond to your enquiry, understand the context you have shared, communicate with you about the enquiry, understand recurring tender and proposal workflow problems, conduct and organise market research, improve research materials and website content, measure website usage, maintain records of relevant communications, protect the website against misuse or security problems, comply with applicable legal obligations, and establish, exercise or defend legal rights where necessary.
I may use aggregated or de-identified observations in research where they no longer reasonably identify an individual or disclose confidential company information.
4. Research and confidentiality
This research is intended to understand common business workflows and recurring problems. I do not require confidential tender information to participate. If you choose to submit information, you are responsible for ensuring that you are authorised to share it. Information submitted privately will not automatically be treated as permission to publish the identity of you, your employer or confidential material.
5. Cloud and AI-assisted processing
I use third-party technology providers to operate the website, store information and communicate. These may include hosting, database, object-storage, email, analytics and other cloud-service providers. I may also use AI-assisted tools to help organise, analyse or summarise information where appropriate. Information should therefore not be submitted through the public form if it contains material that should not be processed using ordinary third-party cloud infrastructure.
6. Service providers
Information may be processed by service providers necessary to operate this website, including providers used for website hosting, database infrastructure, private file storage, transactional email, website analytics, website security, and technical operations. The current technical architecture may use Vercel for hosting, Neon for database and object storage, Resend for email delivery, Microsoft Clarity for analytics, and Google Analytics for analytics. I do not sell personal information to data brokers.
7. Marketing
Submitting the contact form does not subscribe you to a general marketing newsletter. I may contact you to respond to your message or to follow up on the research topic or conversation you initiated. Separate unrelated promotional communications should not be inferred merely from submitting an enquiry.
8. Retention
I retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Routine enquiry records may generally be retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction unless a longer period is reasonably required for an ongoing conversation, research record, legal obligation or dispute.
